About
Tēnā koe, I am a Māori artist of Ngāi te Rangi and Ngāti Hako descent. Dabbling across various crafts, I have a particular love (and hate) for both ceramic and textile sculpture. More recently, I have been learning the techniques of raranga (weaving) and enjoy a community and research-based creative practice. I often find myself pondering the subtleties of everyday interaction that inform identity.
As a Canberra based artist, I live and work on Country of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples. Tēnā koutou, ko te tangata taketake.
